I have a series of these pictures. The idea I had was to get good contrast – so that the stalks of wheat or barley (whatever it is) were each very distinct and the vertical lines were emphasised. As soon as I saw the field I could see some potential photographs in my mind, which I think is a good thing, even if the results were mixed. I still am working on getting the exposure the way I want. I think looking at photographers work which is my target ‘look’ might help.
